This collection of images was commissioned by Mimco. They take a macro look at the result of the freezing and smashing process. Ragged shapes, cracked edges and super-cooled mist streams off the frozen forms. Lighting and tonal cues evocative of Dutch masters still life paintings multiply the depth of fractured petal layers and crystalline surface textures.
